Hike : Day 2 - Death Canyon Shelf to Cascade Canyon, South Fork
We may have settled for an ugly campsite, but man - Death Canyon Shelf is a sight to behold.
The previous night's storms gave way to clear, blue skies and views that defy imagination.

The epicness of the Teton Crest Trail cannot be overstated.

Our next campsite was on the other side of Hurricane Pass, somewhere down in the south fork of Cascade Canyon.
Big day. Big views.
Climbing up over Hurricane Pass is no easy feat. They call it Hurricane Pass for a reason. It tends to be a bit... breezy.
On the other side of the pass, the trail drops right past Schoolroom Glacier.
Finally - headed into the stunning south fork of Cascade Canyon
We opted for a campsite on top of a knob, nestled into some pretty amazing scenery (and, apparently, Bear Country -
based on the enormous piles of poo we hiked over the next morning to get back to the trail).
